The camera feed opens to a familiar living room in a certain basement-level apartment in Cellar Door, with the ground-level windows open wide and all of the lights on. The light from the ceiling highlighted the stark contrasts between both the familiar and the unfamiliar. While the furniture was all the same, the usual hodgepodge of materials, paperwork, food wrappers, abandoned dishware, and video game equipment had been tidied up. Not only that, but a glimpse of the small kitchen in the background revealed the sink to be empty and all of the items put into it's proper place.

In the center of this was a familiar silhouette, with their long legs crossed over a knee and equally long arms resting along the back of the sofa. A black cat sat nearby, her small body curled tightly up against the familiar figure with an unfamiliar demeanor. Long, thick hair was piled up into a messy bun, and the crisply tailored dress clothes had been replaced with loose pants, fingerless gloves, and a loudly printed shirt that was unbuttoned and had its sleeves rolled back and. The casual style revealed a few noticeable differences between this newcomer and the original possessor of this apartment, this identity, and this body:

1) The glasses they wore were larger and had a more delicate framing. The reflection of digital images cast upon them like a screen was evident even in the video. Their eyes, still green, had a glassy, artificial quality to them as well-- as if they were aftermarket, and saw far more than biological ones could.

2) The dominant arm itself may have been covered, but the there was visual evidence of skin grafts being adhered to sturdy metallics, with noticeable seams and breaks in the surface where the bones met to form a joint. The exposed skin on the other arm displayed some scarring from an accident that was undescribed-- and would remain so.

While the viewer watched, the subject in the center of the screen watched back.

Alexandria scoffed, tilted their head, and spoke.

"Okay, jackass. By the time you find this, I'll be long gone."

They heaved a heavy sigh, the motion revealing the twig thin bones and curvatures that were usually kept hidden from sight.

"That's fine. I've made my peace with it. But that doesn't mean you're off the hook. You made damn sure you would always come back with the way you hacked that crystal from your patron. So, since you had to blast my consciousness with your imperatives enough times that I could hardly enjoy a life without needing to run from Corporate assholes? I'll add my burdens to the ones you already carry."

A humorless, bitter smirk crossed their face as they leaned forward, shamelessly displaying their body before the camera.

"Alexander the Great, huh? It's really funny how you can never escape him-- like you'll never meet your full potential without his influence on your life. He ordered you to watch, remember, and tell his story. So, to this I'll add:

"Do the same with mine."

The figure reached for a pack of cigarettes on the table and casually lit one with the reality-bending powers of their darkblood, and idly puffed away while staring into the camera with their unrelenting gaze. Multitudes were carried in that look, and yet--

They rapped a finger on the table, the sharp staccato of it garnering attention.

"One:" they said, theatrically leaning back and raising a finger, as if starting a count down. "Stay close to SecUnit. You probably call it Rin, or Eden. Or whatever. It's not human, it doesn't want to BE human, but it NEEDS friends. Stick with it, or else I'll crawl my way back and take over again.

"You won't like it if I do."

Another finger lifted to join the first.

"Two: Take care of those kids you've collected. I'm not sure if you even understand how important they really are to you. You're not going to have a chance to repent if you lose these opportunities. You already punched yourself over Camus Peligor. Haven't you learned a damn thing?"

A shake of their head. It was clear from their face that this was entirely too much to deal with.

"Three:" A third finger joined the first two. "I started backing up my data to hard disk after I got spaced. Long story. The short of it is: I've downloaded my details onto that pathetic box you call a computer. That is: my recordings, my memories, and the details that I picked up for your projects while I had the wheel. There's a stack of books that I took from the other town in your bedroom, scans of others on a flash drive, and videos of the cute things your kids were doing while you were busy. I've checked in on people in your stead and tried to smoothe things over. You're REALLY shitty at this, you know?

"SecUnit has my drones. If you're curious, go ask it for viewing privileges either at the Entertainment Feed or on your Omni. I know you've practically got an eidetic memory, Lord Professor. You can't hide it from me. I'm you. Now--

"Watch everything. Remember it all. Add it to your sense of self, and do NOT let the work I've done here just fade."

The hand dropped back dow and dragged the camera closer, their lips pressed into a harsh line while they leaned in-- like a lover, or a predator.

"Remember me, Waver Velvet, Lord El Melloi II of the Clock Tower and Head of the department of Modern Magecraft. Whatever the fuck that is. Remember me--

"Alexandria."
